LUCID DREAMS

By Marcel

The whiles of forlorn
Often stalked with yet to embrace memories
Streaming through the memory lane
Like lucid dreams at nights,
The phantasmagoric images of reality

This time reprising of dreams coincidental to reality
The type that makes one want to sleep more
Desires and feelings filming through wants and ends
Ends that don’t end

Dreams spurred by conscious demand of mutuality
It’s fascinating that as clear as it seems
It’s still obscured by reality
Too opaque to comprehend
Thus making complex, these lines

I crave for the last night
Wherein I’m sheltered in those arms
When lucid dreams merge with reality
Springing up blissful moments

Till this night
I had just dreams,
That the reality is not meant for me.
